Learn more about NRVIA Online Basic Training for Level 1 RV Inspector
NRVIA has teamed up with the National RV Training Academy to provide the basic education and testing to develop Certified RV Inspectors across America. This course is $696 and is a self-paced online training option which requires the use of internet and is geared for the more experienced RVer or certified technician who is wanting to earn NRVIA credentials quickly without taking hands-on training.
Downloadable workbooks, online videos and exams allow anyone who has access to the Internet to become a member of NRVIA and begin to develop the skills and knowledge to become certified with NRVIA as a Level 1 inspector. Developed and presented by RVIA/RVDA Master Certified RV Technician, Terry Cooper, this course will take you from novice to knowledgeable in a little as 40 hours of time, or longer if you desire.
Upon successful completion of the Level 1 online training course, you’ll then become a member of NRVIA. The online course cost includes your first year’s dues of $299 ($299/year renewal).
The e-Learning system will take you through the main systems of an RV and provide you with the opportunity to take the Technical Knowledge & Skills Exam for Level 1 Certification. When you have successfully completed the exam with a 70% of better score, you will then be directed to study the NRVIA Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. You’ll then complete a second exam, over the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.
Passing these two online exams certifies you with the NRVIA as a Level 1 RV Inspector and you are ready to take the next step, the Level 2 Advanced Inspector Training!
