5 Day Hands-On Advanced Inspector Training Course
Level 2 Training
– Learn By Doing –
You’ve completed the basic training and are now a Level 1 NRVIA Certified RV Inspector! The next obvious step in establishing your successful inspection business is to register and attend an advanced inspector training course that is taught by an advanced Certified Trainer who has been trained to teach others, called Learn By Doing. Successful completion of this course will promote you to a Level 2 NRVIA Certified RV Inspector, which will allow your customers to feel more confident in your skills and ability.
November 9-13, 2020 online in Virtual Classroom*
December 7 – 11, 2020 in Athens, Texas
*Alternatively, we occasionally offer Virtual Online Level 2 classes. This requires you to be at your computer the entire class week with a reliable internet connection. This type of training method is great for individuals who learn well online. You will have access to the instructor during the week to ask questions during class.
This is the course that holds your hand as you perform actual RV inspections! Having an instructor guide you through the inspection process is the #1 reason most NRVIA members attend this course. Training will include risk management, general business procedures, inspection report software and more. With a large focus on hands-on inspection training, your Certified Trainer will show you how to accomplish a top-quality report for your future clients.
The final exam for this course will require you to complete two full inspections – one motorized RV and one towable RV. These inspections will be evaluated by your Trainer to determine if you successfully mastered the advanced training. 16 CEUs will be awarded for those who successfully complete the course. You must complete both of these inspections within 2 weeks following the last day of class for your instructor to grade you as successfully passing the course. See below for important information regarding required fluid analysis supplies.
The tuition for Learn by Doing is a full payment of $1,145 or three (3) payments of $410, all payable before the first day of class. Please note: the cost for this class will increase no later than January 2021 and will be $1,500/person at that time. To register, you must be a current member in good standing with your Level 1 Certification complete. Email Stephanie Henson at email@example.com to request an invoice for the date of your choice for the Advanced Inspector course.
You’ll need to purchase your fluid analysis kits and fluid pumps (coolant and oil) and have those with you when you arrive at class. See below for the exact part numbers to purchase from JG Lubricant Services. Please allow a minimum of 7 business days from the time you order for arrival. If you need to have these items shipped ahead to the campground or to your Instructor, please provide that shipping address when you place your order. Visit www.nrvia.org/fluid-analysis to access JG Lubricant Services online stores and discount codes. The Learn By Doing course only requires for you to conduct 1 oil and 1 coolant extraction, however – take advantage of shipping and stock up for the future inspections where you know you’ll need supplies.
